Broker's Comments

This is a nice example of a Moody 31Mk I designed by Bill Dixon, The Moody 31 is a popular model well known for its good pedigree which have long since underpinned its popularity in the cruising fraternity. This is the fin keel version adding to its strong sailing characteristics.

There are expected signs of age related wear but overall “Summer Salt” has been well maintained and benefits from a variety of recent works including:

• Truedesign seacocks fitted 2022
• New Victron charger fitted in 2022
• Stern gland replaced 2023
• New starter battery 2023
• Calorifier replaced in 2022
• New carpets 2022
• New UV strip on the genoa 2024
• Antifoul and anodes renewed 2023

The quality “Moody” finish remains evident inside and out but the yacht would benefit from some minor improvement. However, she represents great value and if you are looking for a Moody 31 Mk I to sail away in, this is for you.

We welcome all enquiries and viewing requests.
