Broker's Comments

Here we have a rare boat. Owned for 58 years, this family have enjoyed this Aquafibre 30 for so many years and took the decision to make her electric powered in 2017. The conversion kept all the shaft etc. of the previous diesel installation so she can have a motor re fitted and be used as a conventional boat when this is done. She is all set to go and run on electric but needs batteries fitting. These are not supplied. She was intended for 12 AGM DEEP CYCLE BATTERIES OF 570AH TO SUPPLY 48v TO THE MOTOR.
This or a different battery configuration will need to be supplied by the new owner.

The boat has full onboard battery charging capability and the Krauter wad 10, 3 phase brushless air-cooled 243A electric motor and Krauter DR8 motor controller.

The boat has been little used since conversion and is offered as a project to keep the electric system or as I feel return to diesel power and sell the electric equipment.

The boat has a huge cockpit but the canopy is shot and needs replacing. The hull and super structure appear to be in good condition but the boat should be surveyed to verify this.

She has two cabins and a heads compartment and can sleep 4. The galley to port is large and she has a lot of charm. This boat would fantastic once restored and fitted out to a running condition and offers a lot of space and super wide decks.

She has no current BSS and is offered as a project.

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
